I’m a passionate runner, artist, baker, slavophile, and polyglot. Economist by education. Dead Head since birth. Known to peruse Lonely Planet image galleries for hours on end.
After three years of responsible corporate citizenship, I decided to take a break from finance and see the world. My travels began with a volunteer placement in Lima, Peru. After falling in love with South America, I spent the next few months in Cartagena, Colombia to continue improving my Spanish. In early May, I fulfilled a life-long dream of traveling to Russia to volunteer again with Cross Cultural Solutions for seven weeks in Yaroslavl, Russia. Finally, I returned to Colombia to continue my language studies, volunteer in microfinance, and enjoy life in the Caribbean.
Since January, 2013, I have been living in Tbilisi, Georgia and working in the field of microfinance.
